I just want to give David Lynch a hug, what a man and what a mastermind. One of the greatest shows I’ve ever watched, up there with The Sopranos and Breaking Bad for me. Kyle Maclachlan was born to play the role of Dale Cooper, he was so good. Found myself saying “how good is Kyle Maclachlan” about 3 times an episode. David Lynch’s cameos as Gordon Cole (nice Sunset Boulevard reference) had me cracking up and were the highlights…

Take a bow Kyle MacLachlan, David Lynch and Mark Frost. This is the greatest TV show I’ve ever watched. Kyle MacLachlan is just so wonderful, he plays 3 completely different characters and excels in all of the roles. David Lynch is splendid as Gordon Cole as I always say. If he wasn’t such a brilliant director, he could definitely have made it as an actor. There was some great editions to the cast and some wonderful cameos. The last 3…

    2022 Ranked

Even with my WiFi trying it’s best to stop me watching this film, I eventually was able to finish it and it exceeded all my expectations. It is very weird, strange, outlandish whatever other words there are. However, it is so so creative, thrilling and engaging. There was emotional moments and it was just a mental experience. Didn’t laugh as much as I was hoping but that’s the only negative I can think of. Definitely my favourite of 2022 so far and it will be hard to top. Marvel didn’t pick the right time to release a multiverse film when this is out.

One of the easiest 5 stars I’ve given in a long time. I came into this film with huge expectations and it more than delivered. It’s just one of those films where anyone can relate with and it just felt so real. The conversations, the events and the situations have all happened in your life. It’s amazing how Richard Linklater stuck with the same actors and filmed this over 12 years as well, just makes this film…

Finally watched my first Kurosawa film and yeah, he’s awesome. Didn’t get into this as much as I was hoping but I blame Shakespeare more than anything. The guy really lacks some originality, all his stuff is similar or at least have the same endings. To sum it up, fuck you Shakespeare and you’re awesome Kurosawa.

I didn’t know what was going on half the time. Too many names to remember, too much fancy language and I eventually lost interest halfway through. The acting was good though and so was the cinematography. I haven’t seen Citizen Kane so that probably didn’t help but it’s the first David Fincher film I haven’t liked which is a shame.
