Ben Hibburd’s review published on Letterboxd:
"Secret War" is a nice blend of WWII action horror. Clearly inspired from the "Metro" books and more likely the videogame, this short sees a platoon of Russian soldiers track down and kill a horde of otherworldly demons. There are elements of "Doom", "Metro" and "Battlefield" sprinkled throughout, and the stunning photo-realistic CGI makes this feel like a kick ass 16 minute cutscene from a game. It's fitting that "Love, Death & Robots" ends its run with arguably its finest looking animation, it's just a shame that it wasn't quite the best short story.
