I've spent the last few days mulling over this film unsure what to write about, other than stating that Clive Barker's "Nightbreed" is the personification of the term 'Cult Classic'. With a wonky plot, a mixture of good and bad acting, rough pacing issues, imaginative set designs and make-up effects, plus over the top action set pieces this film really does tick all the boxes. And if that wasn't enough, the film fully solidifies its cult status thanks to a freaking awesome villainous turn by the great David Cronenberg. Literally the film is worth watching for him alone.
