Got up at 5:30am - put this on to prepare for NO TIME TO DIE later in the afternoon.
As I remembered it's a mercifully fast, dreary coda to the spectacle that was CASINO ROYALE.
For being the most violent of the Bond films (at least up to this point) the action isn't well directed. It's quickly cut and there's not much spatial awareness in the climactic moments to induct tension (save the well-executed climax).
The Tosca scene is cool and Strawberry Fields is fun.
Mathieu Amalric couldn't intimidate my cat.
