When the series started to have a little more fun and playful characters. At the beginning, you fall for the characters easily and cant imagine any of them coming to their deaths. At last they do, and the movie still maintains a scary and suspenseful tone even though it was more relaxed in the beginning. Again, just like much of the series, well, 1-7, actually, the strength lies in the end. Terrific final girl with a great backstory.
