Impossible to review because it’s full of contradictions. Incompetently made but deeply personal, transphobic in parts but empathetic in others, a weird mashup of essay, surrealist horror, and domestic drama - all done poorly but fascinatingly.
1) Craig Wasson looks like a young Bill Maher, and it nearly ruined the movie for me. 2) Whenever the voyeurism theme played, I did a little dance. Very catchy. 3) This movie has a metascore of 69, and I think that would make De Palma happy.
