• The Tomorrow War

    The Tomorrow War

No fucking way a middle America family helmed by Chris Pratt is hosting a Xmas party where EVERY guest gets excited about soccer...

An allegory for...global warming destroying us in 2051 but you can stop it by only caring about your specific offspring and taking matters into your own hand and saying fuck the government but also working with the government but also using it as a means to get over your daddy issues...???

  • Space Jam: A New Legacy

    Space Jam: A New Legacy

Lowkey liked the goon squad designs and the amount of 2D amination was more than expected. Extra half a star for the abject horror the Tunes go through while being rendered...

Don Cheadle using CHEAT codes, guess he was really Don CHEATle.

    Why does everyone hate Marvin???

    The Croods: A New Age

Why YES I did watch croods 2 on a plane ride from Iowa to Arizona.

  • Ford v Ferrari

    Ford v Ferrari

I dont give two shits about cars, but sure gave two shits about this film. Real CLUTCH flick. But yeah, too long.

  • Luca

    Loved this movie!

  • Gamera, the Giant Monster

    Gamera, the Giant Monster

Cant believe this is the first gamera movie I've watched! Just picked up the Arrow collections and excitedly begin my deep dive. Really enjoyed this film, despite some of its classic kaiju tedium.

  • Eraserhead

    Everything is fine.

  • Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

    Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Commits the cardinal sin of killing too many dinos and not enough humans. Story is clunky mashup of Lost World and JP3.

But my god, are the dino models looking good. The film also lost the awful polished sheen of JW, favoring a earthier palette with great spooky night stuff.

Please let Dominion feature minimal Pratt and Howard 🤞🤞🤞

  • Jurassic Park III

    Jurassic Park III

Good job making a 92 min jurassic film! No bloat. Honestly I'm such a sucker for same neil. Feels like they're walking through the same jungle set on multiple occasions. Props for taking scenes from the two books that never made it into the previous films and cobbled together a new film from that.

  • The Lost World: Jurassic Park

    The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Every rewatch as an adult I find one more little thing that makes me like this film less :( watching the bts features on JP vs LWJP there's a warm exuberance that Spielberg and all the cast have about JP, for the sequel, they all just seem a bit more empty, squeezing the amber mosquitos for just a bit more blood. Still lots of great iconic scenes and amazing effects. I think theres something about the first third of the movie that feels...off. too many characters??

  • Aliens vs Predator: Requiem

    Aliens vs Predator: Requiem

Just GOD awful. I swear this was an Asylum release.

  • Alien: Covenant

    Alien: Covenant

Nothing beats Fassbender fingering the flute of another Fassbender. A wonderfully bold film in some strokes, and rather "chained to convention" in others. David as a medieval mendelian naturalist is a great touch. His artists studio is spooky as shit.
