  That feeling when find yourself loving a movie you absolutely knew nothing about? That's the good shit.

  My favorite film of 2021 was Trier's The Worst Person in the World, and Rebecca Zlotowski's Other People's Children easily fits into my heart as that film's companion piece, spiritual sister, and probably great double-bill (down to a memorable needle drop).
