A delightful film. I was literally laughing out loud around my mask while seated in an otherwise empty Cineplex theatre. Totally worth it. And dare I say, I found this film more accessible than the Death of Stalin? Maybe it was the classic Dickensian plot and themes rendered fresh by the film's unique approach, but I found it engrossing.

Finally watched this one because of the passing of Mr. Boseman. A very solid film with excellent pacing and realistic, gritty performances all around. Boseman really shines in the lead role. Such a shame to think of the umpteen leading roles he would have been able to tackle in the future that was denied to him. Rest in power, T'Challa.

There's nothing I can possibly say that hasn't been said about the 40 years of cinematic greatness contained here. I paid $2.67 CAD (a total steal) this evening to go to a cinema for the first time since March to take in this opus. My umpteenth watch, but the first opportunity I have had to see it on the big screen. Here's to many more viewings.
