Like the first John Wick, but better.
Overall I had a good time with this movie. It was nice to see Samuel L Jackson get some real screen time in the MCU, and I felt like Brie Larson did justice to Captain Marvel. There was some stuff dialogue from her throughout the film and I felt like the script had a lot of exposition, which was unfortunate. It was a fun throwback to some 90’s nostalgia, but I can’t say I was fully invested in the story…
Jordan Peele came through with another fantastic horro/thriller. I was anxious about seeing Get Out, but thankfully got convinced to go see it in theaters. And I’m glad I did, because that was my favorite movie of 2017. So I knew there was zero chance I’d miss out on seeing Us in theaters.
