I went into this movie thinking it was gonna be in the so bad it’s good category but honestly, it was pretty fun on its own merits. Although, spoiler alert, the first third of the movie, maybe more actually, was everyone in Bob Odenkirk’s life taking turns telling him how much of a pussy he was for not fighting back against armed home intruders.
I go on to Netflix and this short film catches my eye. I’m usually a big fan of this art style and it was only 12 minutes so I thought I’d check it out. Okay so I obviously have more of a vested interest in this movie. I think the idea for the plot is very unique and it’s important for nontraditional families to be represented. Pixar is very good at answering questions that haven’t really been explored in movies before. What if the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs missed? What if your toys were alive? What if you had the chance to change your fate? I think that plenty of kids like me…
