Ben Reiss’s review published on Letterboxd:
In all honesty, I'll take a good concert film over just about any other kind of movie. A good one can have so much energy that it ends up being a spiritual experience.
I was never a huge Talking Heads fan. I like them and listen to them here and there but they were never a favorite band of mine. That being said, I loved Stop Making Sense. David Byrne has an incredible and infectious stage presence that makes this one of the best concert films I have ever seen. There's no interviews, no audience cutaways, no filler. Just 90 minutes of great music
