Bergverbx’s review published on Letterboxd:
Compared to Hereditary this film comes up short on character building, detail and suspense for me. There are some complex images that I'm still working through emotionally and intellectually, but they don't come close to the careful and deliberate moments cultivated in Aster's previous effort.
Stories should be inevitable but not predictable. And, unfortunately, after Wickerman and The Sacrament, this movie is both.
