James Betsalel’s review published on Letterboxd:
Really REALLY liked a lot of this. Got genuine chills a couple of times and it was always from still shots of characters talking. Unfortunately it kind of falls into some first-time director trappings. I feel Andrew Patterson tries to show off what he can do to put an original spin and look to the film that ultimately gets in the way of the storytelling. It's a solid little script that both works on a small budget and proudly brandishes its influences front and center without feeling too derivative. He should have trusted it a little more because when he does it's an engrossing spooky good time.
