    After all this time in my life (not much in retrospect) I’ve finally *finished* watching The Shawshank Redemption.

    Triumphantly teary eyed, and heartbreakingly poignant, this movie was like the warm hug cinema is able to offer. There’s an aspect of this film which has the ability to tap into your soul, that being the preservation of hope.
