Brent Carroll’s review published on Letterboxd:
A pretty good effort by Waititi. Ultimately didn’t love it like I did his prior few movies, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. I think I expected it to be a more biting satire, but it’s not really trying to be Blazing Saddles or something like it. Still, the entire cast is excellent with Thomason McKenzie, Roman Griffin Davis and Rockwell massive standouts. Also, the Scarjo scene later in the movie is why movies exist and I loved that specific scene so much, just wish the entire movie could match it.
