Killer Queer Daisy 🏳️⚧️’s review published on Letterboxd:
Episode 1: okay some standard sitcom, pretty cool so far. Love the dedication to make it look extra 50s.
Episode 2: ngl I thought it was still the 50s I feel dumb—
also love the way the show felt interrupted shit starting to build up.
Episode 3: holy shit the comedy then the SUDDEN SWITCH TO FUCKING TENSION HOLY HELL
Episode 4: holy. motherforking. shirtballs.
THIS SHOW IS SLOWLY BECOMING MORE AND MORE AMAZING.
Episode 5: HOLY FUUUUUUUUUCK.
I love the little tricks they use to make everything feel like the appropriate time periods they portray. Everything from the cinematography to the aspect ratio to costuming it’s all just muah. Also how much effort do you think they went through just to make the effects look like they were from that time?
Anyway, I love this show.
