Brandon Streussnig’s review published on Letterboxd:
Haunted manifestations of pain tormenting someone who’s insulated themselves from ever feeling the consequences of their infliction or the echoes of their own. God. What a stunner. Tremendously, deeply sad. And very funny!
I find the Cancel Culture talk around this to be so limiting. Much more interested in this being a look at somebody so entrenched in impropriety and cycles that reward it, she herself likely being someone who suffered through it, that insulation is the only reprieve. Absolutely adored this.
Didn’t expect this to have so much in common with Personal Shopper but they pair effortlessly together.
