  Tits: The Movie! Never seen so many nude doubles in my life. Fun energy that I wish had leaned a little further and solidified into something a tad more coherent. Worth it for the cast alone, who seemed to be having a lot of fun.

  The assortment of one-dimensional characters is so awkward and the revelations (and relationships) so contrived. The actors are way too good for this, and try as hard as they may, nothing can fortify this hollow screenplay.

  Peele is 1 for 3 with me. Us failed to replicate Get Out’s exquisite use of genre by taking its metaphor literally to an absurd degree. Nope — true to its facile blackhole-of-a-title — swings hard in the other direction and struggles to have much of anything to say at all. Everything and everyone involved is underdeveloped and underused, fragments of better films mashed together like debris in one of Nope’s twisters. The only hint at what this movie could…
