  I viewed this film via Tubi.

  I love the framing and use of the 1.33:1 aspect ratio throughout Take Me Somewhere Nice, and that finale sure features some genuinely shocking moments, doesn't it?!

  Schizoid 1980

  I viewed this film via 4K UHD.

  I was hoping Schizoid would work for me better a second time around, but it is such a convoluted mess. The numerous red herrings are all completely unhinged and intentionally creepy to the point where, despite not being *the* killer, I have no doubt that they have committed other murders not depicted onscreen here.

  If there was a killer on the loose, I wouldn't be trapesing around like a fuckin' ghoul and making…

  I viewed this film via theatrical screening as part of Days of the Dead 2022.

  Weredeer is perhaps best described as a Hallmark Christmas movie on Busch Light and Percosets. It also stars me, so I hope you have fun with it!

  Juvenile Crime 1997

  I viewed this film via VHS.

  Yet another re-telling of the infamous "concrete-encased high school girl murder case" of Junko Furuta, Juvenile Crime is a nasty piece of low-budget exploitation. Gunji Kawasaki's cheap, handheld aesthetic only makes me the film more uncomfortable to watch.
