Ever since I first watched this, I dreamed of showing it to my friends. Finally, today, I managed to convince three of my friends to watch it. I was dancing around the room until I was soaked in sweat whilst they were sat on the sofa, watching David Byrne, who they had never encountered before, fascinated by his movements and the lyrics.
They all said they were surprised by how much they enjoyed it and, to be fair, I was surprised that they weren't begging me to turn it off. These weren't the friends that I thought would adore it, so I have hope that the others will be overcome by it, just like I am.
As per, I adored this. It was so much fun to be sharing the work of one of my biggest influences with the people who mean so much to me. I know the magic of this film won't ever wear off. It's here to stay.
