Houston Coley’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really, really, really expected to love this. And I liked it a lot! It's cute and fun and endearing. I'm glad it exists, and the spirit of the movie is something I can really get behind. But it's also proof, at least to me, that Taika's writing sensibilities right now are not quite capable of portraying anything with any real sense of gravitas or weight. Everything here somehow ends up feeling too inconsequential, especially given the subject matter.
