Before Kieślowski painted 3 different European cities in 3 separate films with one distinct color for each, he did the same thing in this film with 2 cities and 2 colors: Green and Orange. What do they mean? Idk. I still need to analyze that. But while I’m doing that and collecting my overall thoughts on the film all together, it’s safe to say I loved this film. It’s a hypnotic experience that uses colors in a mesmerizing way. Visual poetry about identity and connection between lives.
