    DIE HARD isn't a Christmas movie, it's a quarantine movie about negotiating and maximizing your personal space in confined spaces with others.

    Mainly, tho, it's the 80s action film, perfected. Call it the genius of the system, but after dozens of Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Joel Silver, Shane Black, and Bruce Willis movies, good, bad, whatever, the machine dealt us DIE HARD.
