    When the anticlimax is your theme, you kinda paint yourself into a corner. Stupid move logic twists can’t occupy a characters only motivation. Withholding character info is cool, withholding scenes of violence/ killer victim seem suspicious when we’re guessing if it’s him or not. Like Zodiac but without the genuine fear of not being able to catch the killer.

    People only like cops when they’re catching serial killers or not writing you a ticket. Good choice showing from their perspective. Ramirez lurking around LA freeways is much more cinematic tho.

    The screening I went to, after a really good scene the screen went black. Everyone thought it was intentional darkness to replicate the blind mans POV. Something the film hadn’t done yet. Amazing! But then the scene kept going over black. I was like woah, love the balls to this. Then the lights came up, and the director explained something went wrong with the DCP. Not intentional. Or was it??
