Did Laura Dern get any awards for being able to look Nic Cage in the eyes while he sang Love Me Tender?

The opening to this film had me hook, line and sinker. Hang off it’s every move to start with, I was so ready to love this film. Nic Cage’s character Sailor, is exactly how you use Nic Cage to his full potential. Sadly this fill just lost my attention about 35 minutes in, there was just no substance. Fortunately I really enjoyed the end, it was completely bizarre and the perfect way to round up this film.
