  I finally watched this. (My mom just randomly put it on.)

  The vision is tenacious and energetic, music included...

  but, dude, the vicious violence against BIPOC committed by a white person is really really really awful............ i hate it...

  And don't be fooled, this is not a feminist film...it's just another white man's fantasy. (Do I even need to mention Thurman's account on making this?)
