Ghostbusters is interesting. I don’t hate it. I like it but it is pretty overrated. Not a big fan of Bill Murray and the acting here isn’t the best. The cast is good but I didn’t really like any of the characters. I understand that the movie wants to be very weird and unrealistic, but at times, it can be too much. Also, it dragged at certain points. There are some cool sequences, but towards the middle, it was a bit slow. The story is fine and I think the execution is good, but I wasn’t too invested with the characters and the conflict. On the other hand, the jokes are good and certain moments were pretty amusing. The finale is pretty fun and there is no denying how iconic this is. The theme song, the car, the ghosts, so many memorable components. The effects haven’t aged well but I don’t really mind the quality. I understand this movie has its fans, but I am not one of them. I still like this though.
