Branson Reese’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not to be the protagonist of an LCD Soundsystem song about it but I’ve been a fan of Julio through the NYC comedy scene for a few years now and it’s very exciting watching people realize he’s a star. He’s not becoming a star; he was born out of crystals and dry ice fully a star like Aphrodite coming out of the shell in the Mediterranean. Julio Torres’s talent and power works in a similar way to how the sky was blue in the Odyssey even though they didn’t have he word yet. He’s a star regardless, but it’s nice to watch people discover him and agree with what’s already true.
