Ben Rasmin’s review published on Letterboxd:
Everything I hoped it’d be. After the necessary nostalgia provided by The Force Awakens, Rian Johnson boldly blows the Star Wars story wide open and, in doing so, ensures us of a trilogy to treasure. Unsurprisingly a visual and auditory spectacle from beginning to last, The Last Jedi is also inclusive of some towering performances from its ensemble cast. Adam Driver could be my favourite actor working today, Daisey Ridley is the role model all Star Wars heroes should be and Mark Hammill and Carrie Fisher are heart achingly effective as the iconic Skywalker siblings. I loved this film and can’t wait to see it again.
