BreefEncounter’s review published on Letterboxd:
This was the first time since graduating grad school that I genuinely and truly missed thinking and writing about film all the time. Have begun to outline an essay of my thoughts and connections to true crime, rom-coms, Brett Kavanaugh, and horror films that is for no one, but myself.
I miss movie theaters so much and wish I could see this in a dark room with a gigantic screen rather than in my car, in a parking lot somewhere in Hollywood. Mid-screening an intoxicated man came into the lot and pissed onto the building wall where the film was being projected which is a perfect Los Angeles/Hollywood moment if I've ever experienced one.
I cannot wait to watch this again.
Also my review should have just perhaps been: STARS ARE BLIND!
