okay, definitely did not expect to like this so much, but those final 20 minutes? perfection.
a sequel that keeps to its predecessors roots while still managing to subvert expectations, and I got to watch jamie kennedy DIE! the scene with gale in the recording studio is a masterclass on tension all on its own, and I am pleased to report that I correctly guessed one of the killers from the beginning, so basically I'm a genius and I'm going to drop out of college since I clearly don't need it anymore.
and uh, between us squirrels... blood-covered timothy olyphant > skeet ulrich. they're both pretty but I've had a thing for timothy since forever, and ask any of my friends, they will confirm I also have a weird thing for unhinged medical/science students, so really this was a match made in heaven for me.
