    What a real rushed film...

The direction is not bad, but I feel Wes Anderson is trying to develop his style. To be honest, I find the script to be not great. Max's introduction is very good and the others are fantastic. I just don't find the film funny at all - I didn't laugh at all. The film does sort of have The Graduate vibes, however the storytelling is far behind the excellent The Graduate script. There is not…

    The last great Hitchcock film...

The direction is weaker when compared to his notable films. It's not perfect, but very good. The script does present some problems. The investigation into what is really Rosebud…

    Don Cheadle's favourite film!

The direction is certainly outstanding. I do have quibbles with the script. The character introductions are excellent. If I had to describe in a nutshell of the plot, it is essentially The Godfather and The French Connection meets Trainspotting in City of God.

There is a really interesting gangster storyline that involves multiple conflicts and interwoven lives of normal people being influenced by drugs and brainwashing aspects. Rocket is a character that realises the detriments of…
