This. When I lived in Spain I went to this dinky, hole-in -the-wall karaoke bar a lot and one night someone did Bohemian Rhapsody and, even though the town was so small hardly anyone else spoke English, literally everyone in the bar knew all the lyrics. We ended up singing Bohemian Rhapsody every time we went after that. Queen is iconic and timeless and while this movie was somewhat cursory and formulaic, and the middle dragged a bit, my love for the music and the effort Rami put into bringing Freddie back to life didn’t. He was absolutely electric and it was emotional in all the right places. Seeing this in theatres is the only way to do it.
