I'm really not sure how I feel about this one. I honestly feel like I'm going to like it less and less as time goes on. There were some aspects I really enjoyed, like just about any action sequences involving mysterio and the responsibility of being spider-man. But there were a few things that I really didn't like. This movie tried way too hard to be funny and it failed miserably. Some jokes were fine, but most of them were pretty bad and misplaced and completely took me out of the movie. Some scenes drag on for way too long just for the sake of a bad joke. I really liked Jake Gyllenhaal's performance, however his actual character was... something. Really, my main problem with Mysterio was the actual "reveal" that he's the villain (that's not a spoiler, it's fucking Mysterio). Overall I'm not really a huge fan of it. I don't think it's as bad as TASM 2, but it's definetly not on the same level as ITSV or the Raimi trilogy.
That mid-credits scene was fucking amazing though, and probably my favorite part of the movie.
