this wasn't exactly my favorite (i'm easily grossed out so that's to be expected). but like... i will say it's been extremely enjoyable to read up on the production of this and all the literary influences. that was an awesome rabbit hole to fall into post watching this. a movie where there's so much to learn afterward is always one of my favorite experiences.
