The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift ★★

I remember watching this movie on one of the premium cable channels in the US (HBO, showtime, Cinemax, or Starz - one of them) when I was 13, I thought it was amazing. I watched it again and again that summer, just couldn't get enough of it. That was 2006, if Letterboxd existed at the time my watched history would have been 90% Disney channel original movies. I had shit taste.

I was bored today and threw the movie on for old times sake, it has not aged well. The driving scenes are done well, but the dialogue makes me want to crawl out of my skin, the soundtrack is hilarious, and I'm convinced that Lil Bow Wow's character is the same one he played in "Like Mike" (he exclaims his love for Michael Jordan within 20 seconds of his introduction - illuminati confirmed). Han is the only character in this movie that I still like, I understand the justice for Han movement.
