Every time, it’s even better than I remember. Distills John Hughes coming-of-age Americana, the slasher genre that Craven saw grow in the ‘80s, and an Agatha Christie mystery structure into something terrifying that would change the horror landscape. I adore it so.
There are no bad Scream movies yet. Hope that continues tomorrow when I see Scr5am.
