WandaVision

WandaVision

This was better than I expected. First couple episodes are pretty weird and constrained in spoon feeding the audience what’s happening and teasing out how these characters end up in the place. Lost me a little once the S.W.O.R.D. agents show up in episode 4 and start real time explaining everything that happening, letting the air out of the tires a bit and not just letting the machinations naturally reveal themselves through the progression of the “shows” inside the hex. Also ends on a bit of sore note in how our “heroes”evaluate the trauma that was wreaked upon the town people.

It still created a good space to dig into a couple of characters that got short shrift in the films. Wanda’s exploration of grief is done really well and is by far some of the MCU’s best character work since Tony’s in Iron Man 3.
