A vulnerable, moving portrait of an immigrant family in one of the darkest moments in recent U.S. history, and yet an inspiring glimpse at how they still find hope and optimism moving forward from it. A great directorial debut.
I feel like I just went through the most vibrant, hilarious and over-stimulating therapy session courtesy of the Daniels. Much to think about, much to consider. Would happily cry through this one again.
