Days of Heaven

Days of Heaven

"You'd give him a flower, he'd keep it forever."

This is a tale of paradise found and lost. Of people on the search for a place where they can return to their innocence, but who are ultimately consumed by the hellish flames of their own corruption. Our protagonists are bound to repeat the same errors, and each time they do it, the paradise they so deperately look for seems to become farther out of reach. As our little girl escapes into the wild again, however, I realize: maybe heaven is a golden wheat field that extends beyond the horizon, backlit by the haze of the sun.
