it does some things that are cheap and embarrassing
it does some things that are fucking bonkers and cool
movies are becoming tv
tv is becoming movies
everything is becoming the same

there is an excellent movie in this somewhere
it (eventually) has a great plot and solid drama as per usual
cut out the moments where it's so afraid people won't like it
luckily there's less of this than in VII but it is still so defensive

i'd like a version where luke throws the lightsaber sincerely

the porgs absolutely deliver in those moments
nipple creature, yes, give me more
