My expectations were fairly low for Lightyear and I walked out thinking it was very charming, fast-paced and visually stunning. Sox is the literal MVP. If you’re going to cast someone to portray the basis of the Buzz Lightyear toy, is anyone a better choice than Chris Evans? Probably not. Some story issues, especially in the second act, keep this from being on par with the quadrilogy, but I had a good time.
