M3GAN 2022
This took me all over the place and I’m still surprised on how funny it was. Although it felt like a slightly better version of Child’s Play ‘19, I still thought this was camp and unique enough to be a modern horror flick. AI is scary as fuck though.
Overall, M3GAN is that bitch and I look forward to a 2.0.

Infestation 2009
Although it’s a basic SyFy-esque film, it’s still pretty fun. There are moments where you feel like you’ve seen all this before but it’s charming enough that you allow yourself to forget… kind of.

Halloween Ends 2022
Truthfully, I really enjoyed this. We know it’s not going to please everyone —when does it ever— but I appreciate that this was a very different story compared to previous films. One Guarantee: I did not expect any of it.

Hellraiser 1987
Clive Barker’s mind… Hellraiser is unique and an absolute 80’s classic. The body regenerating scene alone is so grotesque and probably one of my favourite movie moments — simply the best use of gore effects. Pinhead is also right up there for quintessential horror villains.
Side Note: Kirsty Cotton is an underrated Final Girl.
