Hemsworth's reaction to Evans almost budging his hammer was enough to make me rewatch all of Ragnarok.
There's less to this film than I remember from watching as a kid. There's some really fun visual comedy at the beginning as he bumbles around all the elves. Once he gets to America the move kind of stalls and never quite recovers. Watching Ferrell still kinda makes it okay to sit through once a decade.
This movie reminds me of Phantom Menace. Not because any bland characters are introduced (in this one, all the bland characters are pre-existing ones given nothing to do) or because the CGI character looks like he was drawn with crayons. This reminds me of Phantom Menace because when someone inevitably stitches together a feature film from this film and its sequel(s), they'll only use the last five minutes of this film.
