I grew up watching this movie so much as a kid. As it seemed to be always on cable. But having now watched it for the first time in probably a good 20+ years, I can say that nostalgia hasn't helped this film. This thing was so hard to follow. Did I have fun watching it? Sure. Is there great music and cheesy acting, YES. Will I watch it again. Yeah probably. In maybe another 20 years!
This doc hit close to home. I have a child with special needs. And to think, not that long ago how his life would be world different. Thank the stars for these people and their fight for those who are often overlooked.
Watch this, you won't be disappointed. And maybe you will learn something. I know I did.
This has been a 50/50 year for King adaptions. This one, I would put in the winning column. This was a wonderful adaptation of a great King book. I have so many feels after watching this film. I'm almost at a loss for words and still unnerved. It's a very disorienting watch I will say that.
