Set in upstate New York, this horror/mystery film starts out as ordinary as any other one. New family, new baby, new house, and lots of demons. The protagonist is a hopeless character who hides in the shadow of her husband who happens to be a college professor. All seems well until it isn’t; weird noises in the house, strange neighbors and coworkers. The movie incorporates works of art and texts that add deeper meaning to the entire film. The couple fight and argue as the house seems to divide their marriage, but will they let it ruin their entire lives?
