i saw this in theaters but forgot to log it - it's that kinda movie. it's breezy, fun, mildly amusing, and filled with likable characters. it's also completely inessential.
for all the handwringing over his performance, i think ehrenreich is actually pretty good in this; he seems like a younger and thus less supernaturally confident han to me. but the movie fills in a ton of narrative backstory without revealing anything new about han himself - he's just always been this way. and really none of the dramatic beats hit as hard as they're intended to.
still, the set pieces are cool, the movie is quick and fun, and lando rules! and that's good enough for me.
