  I guess my time with B-movies taught me well. This is my first watch-through where this movie was actually funny and charming to me instead of cringey. Might end up being one of my favorite sequels after this franchise rewatch.

  A slow-burn into abject insanity that I didn’t appreciate until its final moments. Loved the chemistry between Rebecca Hall and Grace Kaufman (who I’d love to see more of in the future!), and was thoroughly creeped out by Tim Roth’s David. This was Rebecca’s show primarily, though. She gives a layered and meaty performance (am I describing Rebecca Hall or lasagna?) that elevates this compelling film.
