22. just rewatching movies i’ve seen way too many times instead of actually going through my watchlist
Visually, Tenet is stunning. And Ludwig Göransson’s score is beautiful and very hard to miss, particularly since it’s SO DAMN LOUD
Despite the awful sound mixing I didn’t really have any problems with following the dialogue or the plot, but I sort of felt like I was expected to, seeing how a big part of the dialogue is just glaringly obvious exposition, clearly meant for us, and nothing more. first cinema trip out of lockdown! i’ve been putting off watching this for a while, in hope that our cinematheque would have a screening and they finally did. i don’t know how to properly explain the feelings i have about this film, and i doubt anything i say will even come close to doing justice to it, so i won’t even try. i’m just very happy i got to see it on the big screen. what an experience, wow.
